Internship Overview
Easy Solutions summer internship program was designed to meet a growing demand for practical experience, to satisfy high school curricula requirements and to prepare students for employment in the recreation field. Both students and Easy Solutions stand to benefit from the internship experience. The intern shall work under the direct supervision of a designated staff, creating a meaningful experience for the student while satisfying Idea Public School requirements.
Internship Program Objectives
Easy Solutions and Idea Public School is to provide you with the following opportunities:
- To apply academic course work to a hands-on practical experience
- To problem solve in a work environment
- To exchange ideas with professionals
- To gain competent skills in a variety of setting
- To expose the intern to projects and opportunities that will provide practical experience for future job opportunities
- To support and contribute to Easy Solutions delivery of services.
Easy Solutions will introduce and involve interns in ES Financial Credit Services, ES Print & Design, and ES Technologies. They will be exposed to the following:
- Day to day clerical duties and responsibilities
- Search engine optimization
- Search engine marketing
- Web video marketing
- Social media marketing
- Website and graphic designing
- Online market research (product development)
- Event coordinating and marketing
- Public relations (community involvement and networking)
When Internships are Available and Duration
Exact starting and ending dates will be arranged between the intern and the supervisor. Internships typically run during the indicated months, however, it may be possible for other arrangements to be made. Interns are expected to work 20-30 hours work week for the duration of the internship program. Some exceptions apply depending upon the service area and situation. These hours may include evening and/or weekend hours.
Eligibility
Any student who is currently enrolled at an institution of Idea Public School is eligible to apply to the program. Please contact Internship Coordinator, Ryan Zuiderveen at 956-336-9970 for more information.
Compensation
Compensation is provided for internships. It is our philosophy that Easy Solutions and the student have a partnership. Easy Solutions provides the intern with the required knowledge and experiences to fulfill the internship standards and provides valuable learning experiences for the intern. In exchange, the intern enhances Easy Solutions program by providing fresh, new ideas and suggestions.
Academic Credit
To determine if Idea Public Schools offers credit and the requirement of obtaining credit for an internship, you must contact Internship Coordinator, Ryan Zuiderveen at 956-336-9970.

Internship Policies & Responsibilities
The principle purpose of the Easy Solutions & Idea Public School internship Program is to assist students in making an effective transition from the classroom to the professional world. It is designed to give students the opportunity to explore the Financial and Credit field and discover where their interests lie. The key to a successful internship program is competent supervision. Easy Solutions and Idea Public School assumes full responsibility for the supervision of the intern. All supervisors have abundant experience in the financial and credit field and are open to new ideas and creative approaches to program and facility management. As an intern, it is your responsibility to be professional when you represent Easy Solutions and Idea Public School. It is our goal to provide exceptional and efficient customer service to the individuals who use our facilities, participate in our programs and represents us publicly. We also communicate courteously and responsively to the public, co-workers and volunteers. This component enhances your opportunities for future employment in the field of financial and credit services.
